Dennis Yang

Dennis’ interest in architecture cultivated through a creative childhood with lego; particularly when building freely without instruction. Having undertaken extensive reading, he is mostly inspired by the work of Tadao Ando – whose projects show that connecting simple materials within a certain space can present a holistic vision of architecture. Furthermore, I have learnt how to realize a design idea by breaking it into parts, finding the inherent relations within them and determining the materials.

After graduating from Westminster, Dennis worked at a Japanese-invested enterprise studio located in Shanghai; specialising in creative industrial parks and integrated commercial architecture design.
