Currently studying her MArch part II, and working part time at a London practice, Yvonne has developed a keen interest in the attributes of socially sustainable design .
With Nigerian heritage, her interests have direct ties to west Africa design, the socio-economic dynamic of rural architecture and the importance of building materials and techniques. This is further demonstrated, by being involved in rural construction projects in Lithuania, Uganda and Nigeria.
Yvonne has been involved in mentoring schemes for prospective students, through the Stephen Lawrence Trust, as well as exploring the industry through events and competition, including aiding in the re-design of the Stephen Lawrence co-working hub.
